Chapter 30

Fifteen minutes into the run, Henry couldn't hold it anymore. He was very bothered by the silence from Gina's end and for some seconds, he turned to her, watching as she counted numbers in a low tone. He had been trying to get her to talk for some time, but each time, she shushed him and continued on. Gina gave him the impression she was still angry about last night's argument and he didn't know how to broach the conversation with her. So he continued to jog beside her, noticing how she seemed to move away even further.

He hadn't wanted to go for a run that morning, as his initial plan was to sleep in and do some work later.
