CHAPTER THIRTY

ALPHA KONAN'S POV

I couldn't sleep a wink all night. I wanted to explore the incomprehensible feelings I was already having for Madeline. I threw my advances straight to Madeline and she rejected. My emotions were a well formed mixture of surprise and anger. I could still feel the tinge of pain from her feisty action.

How dare she!!!

I needed distraction, a whole of it. I so much craved for an outlet, an outlet to undo the gnawing anger and frustration trying to camp within me—something that requires me to exert rigorous physical energy.

I headed down to the pack training grounds, to see how the warrior wolves were faring. As I approached the field, I saw them scattered in different directions. They didn't even notice my presence.

I stood and watched. What an unexpected sight!!!

Instantly, surges of disappointment washed over me aggravating my already present anger. I came to the pack training grounds hoping to see them train like never before.
