179: Suspecting Amanda

"Alright, Mommy, but remember your promise," Kiara stated, and they started leaving reluctantly.

As soon as they left, I let out a deep sigh of relief. I could not believe that I had just managed to avoid the question Kiara asked without them suspecting I did not want to answer the question.

"By the time you would be back, I believe Amanda would be at home, so she could continue with you guys. It is only if you guys see me by then that you will be requesting an answer concerning Kiara's question," I mumbled.

I picked up my phone and dialed Dr. Naty's phone number. I need to call her and inquire about our deal because she has yet to call me.

As I dialed the number, the phone rang for a few seconds, and it ended without being picked up by someone.

"Maybe she is still busy with work in the hospital," I mumbled, dropping my phone.

I went to the kitchen to get lunch ready for my kids because I did not know exactly when Amanda would be back for me to depend on her to prepare lunch
