Nala’s Point of View

I feel like I just went deaf. I don’t know if I was just dreaming or if this is really happening. It can’t be a prank because that would be too ridiculous.

My gaze shifted to Hugo, who didn’t seem surprised by my presence, and then to Dominic, who looked shocked while staring at me.

“I-I just misheard, right?” I stuttered, feeling my heart race with nervousness.

“No. You heard it right,” Hugo said.

I closed my eyes in disbelief. How? How did Dominic become my sibling? Did Mama lose a child? But that’s impossible because I know his story.

“You knew that she was here, right, Lion?” Dominic asked Hugo, his voice filled with disbelief.

Hugo shrugged. “She deserves to know, Velasco. I’ve been keeping this to myself for the past few months. I realized that she needs to know who she is,” he said seriously, then turned his back on Dominic.

“Where are you going?” Dominic questioned.

“You two need to talk. That’s a family matter. Explain to her everything,” he said coldly,
