Daniel comes rushing in, a jump in his steps, Jacob behind him and he carried Bridget in his arms. God! Something about this whole scene was making my heart swell with pride, with love for Jacob. I couldn't help it as I walk to him and pull him down for a short kiss so I don't make anything awkward for mom and Colin.
Jacob is of course surprised at my outburst of love too but he kissed me back and lands a peck on my forehead when we pull away. He's staring at me amused, his eyes also shinning with mischief.

BECCA POVI decided to head home and grab lunch before going back to the hospital. I was super hungry and I didn't know how long Bail's labor was going to last and I didn't see the harm.
