80| Making the final decision

Orla's POV

"Can you tell me where you are going?" Angus asked as I walked out of the house. He was standing in the middle of my way not letting me step ahead.

"Why? Do you tell me every time you leave the house?" I folded my arms across my chest as I asked him back.

"This is not the time to argue," he exclaimed, "it is late at night and it is not safe for you to go out!"

"This is not the first time I have gone out at midnight on my own. I know I have many flaws and weaknesses, which is why you are saying all of this; you believe you are strong enough to protect me from the world, but this is not the case. I am capable of defending myself. And don't forget that you were also indirectly responsible for my death when you claimed me without my permission!"
