EMBERLYN WOLFSONG I am sweating profusely and panting hard as I look around me with wide eyes, gripping hard against the bedspread. The room I am looking at right now is neatly furnished anciently. The walls are wooden, and everything around makes it visibly known that I am sitting in a building that is entirely made out of wood. A candle is deposited at a table, which is standing at the far corner of the room, holding the light that is illuminating the entire area where I am currently occupying. I look outside the window to see total darkness, and this makes me know that the night has descended, and it is no longer daytime. EMBERLYN WOLFSONG I look at her long and hard and then shake my head, rolling my eyes before slowly moving against the bed towards the table. "Now you're acting like a responsible young child. You should listen whenever your elders give you instructions, especially the ones that concern your health,” she says, and I roll my eyes once again. “I do hope your eyeballs don’t drop out of their socket with the constant rolling of eyes you are giving me, young lady.” I give her a sharp glare, and she smirks. I bite my lip feeling the urge to lift my hand and smack her in the face. I don’t know why I’m despising her this much. EP 7: DOUBTING KID 2. EMBERLYN WOLFSONG. I am still seated in my position, staring at the tray of food in front of me, with a lot of thoughts racing through my mind as I reason and wonder about the next step. I do not know what to think or do right now; all I know is that my entire thoughts and head are a fraction of extreme combustion and confusion. I just know within myself that I do not want to deal with anyone, not even the lady who just helped me and claims to want to help me with my ascension. I scoff at the thought and run my fingers through my hair. "Now is not the time to consider such nonsense." EMBERLYN WOLFSONG She examines me like a doctor on duty, and I roll my eyes before shifting my gaze away from her. "Just let me be, okay?" I say this, then fold my arms. She sighs and then clasps her fingers together, gazing at them as if contemplating what to do next. After a brief pause, she returns my gaze with a beautiful smile. How the hell is she doing that? The fact that she is so adorable with those stunning sparkling silver eyes makes me want to pull my hair out. "Well, given that, I suppose I can just ask you a question. What is it about me that has you so worked up?" she inquires, and I squint my eyes at her. "It is none of your business," I say, and she closes her eyes while nodding calmly. "I understand that it is none of my business, but it would be extremely beneficial if you could just come clean and tell me. EP 8: REPERCUSSIONS EMBERLYN WOLFSONG. After successfully determining that I can no longer stay and contain what I am looking at right now, I finally get up from my position on the bed and walk up to the door with a deep frown on my face. I have already eaten what I want, and no one can stop me now. Now I have enough strength to accomplish my goals and escape this godforsaken goddamned cottage of a building that is terrifying the living hell out of me. I stop by the door and examine the handle with squinted eyes as I press my hand against it. This is not particularly difficult. She did not lock this door, which indicates that she does not intend to keep me trapped. But could it also be a trap to open it and walk out? Maybe she dropped something outside to keep me trapped. This is incredibly suspicious. She can not just leave the door open for me to walk out whenever I want, and I know I have to be strategic about this. EMBERLYN WOLFSONG. I return my attention to the main door, which is still locked, and fold my arms as I continue to look at it with a lot of thoughts racing through my mind; I guess that is the door I will have to deal with, and I am not giving up on it. I rush back to the room where she kept me and then step inside, looking around for any kind of strong facility I can use as a weapon to smash the door handle open. I need to get out, and I understand that this is my only chance. I frown slightly as I look at the table where she placed my food. Well, nothing bothers me anymore, and I am going to do whatever my instinct tells me to. I move over to the table, take out the tray and jar, place them both down next to my bed, and study it for a while before examining one of its legs and pressing my palms against it to gauge its length and thickness. Yes, that will work. I think to myself and then start searching for something sharp I can use to break it off, but I can not find anything

EMBERLYN WOLFSONG What frightens me is that it was incredibly soft by nature, much like human skin. Are you aware of the possible meaning of this? This could indicate that there are other people in this dimly lit room besides me right now. I wonder with astonishment if there is someone there, but the fact that I am not feeling anything and that this particular person has not hit me in the face yet. What are the chances that this is some kind of bizarre death chamber where several people are hanging in various corners, either with chains around their necks or, more likely, dead? I close my eyes and cover my face with my hand while I scream nonstop in my head because my mind keeps conjuring up so many horrifying, terrifying pictures. I do not think I am capable of doing this anymore. This is just fucking ridiculously irritating.
