Ariana's POV

I looked at all of them around the table one by one until my eyes landed on the face of the last person. That was Diana and she was the one still holding my hand. My eyes trailed down her face to her chin and then to my hand in her hand. After a while of looking around like that, I spoke.

"So you are ready to tell me what I want to hear, right?" I asked and I wasn't just referring to Diana alone. I was referring to all of them. At this point, other people in the dining hall were looking toward our table and they were fixated on the scene going on before them especially since it involved Diana and her group of friends.

They all looked at each other, a type of silent communication passing through them and they nodded to Diana one after the other. She nodded back to them and turned her gaze back to me before she nodded.
