Ariana's POV

As I lowered my head and gazed at the massive frame of Alpha Derek, I almost gasped out in shock. I was already trembling slightly, thinking of what would go down now that he had seen me and his sister coming out of his private library when he hadn't authorized us to enter into it in the first place. I raised my head up slowly and I saw that Alpha Derek was gazing at us with neither a look of anger nor delight. His face didn't reflect any of that.

In fact, no other emotion showed on his handsome and perfectly sculpted face. He was just looking at us indifferently. And then I wondered why I was even thinking about his face and I realized that thoughts of his face entered into my mind more often that I would have liked to admit.
