It was still early in the morning. Sarah was preparing Rachel for school and Estrellita was preparing to go to Zoe's office with Sarah. They had a few things they had to sort out and Rachel had to go to school. Sarah and Rachel were in Sarah's room when the knock came. It was a hard knock on the door and how it sounded, was like the knock was going to throw the door off it's hinges. After instructing Rachel not to come out of the room, Sarah left the room and headed out to the door. They met at the walkway to the door, Sarah and Estrellita. The next morning, Bob called. He asked to see Ron in their usual spot because he was done with his investigation. He called as early as possible so when Ron had prepared for work and left the house, he did not go to the office, he went to the coffee shop where he'd meet Bob.When he got to the coffee shop, Bob was already there, waiting for him. When he opened the door of the shop, Bob raised a hand and waved at him, it was a signal. Ron walked to where his investigator was sitting with a cup of coffee infront of him and sat opposite the man. They exchanged pleasantries and Bob went straight to the point."When Sarah left here, she went to Colombia. She's working with Houlin and she has a daughter. Her former manager is married there in Colombia and so, she has a new one. Her name is Estrellita." The man blurted out."About the little girl, who is her father?" Ron asked, inquisitively."Well, according to my source, Sarah never got married in Colombia and she did not have a boyfriend

He had just arrived home from work and it was so late at night. Immediately he went inside the house, Lauren rose from the couch where she was sitting and angrily made her way to him where he stood up on sighting her. When she got to where he was standing, she stood infront of him, glaring at him. "What is this I hear? That you want to sue that woman and claim paternity of her child?" Lauren suddenly blurted out. Ron knitted his brows together and Lauren gave a subtle laugh upon seeing the look on his face. Ron was utterly confused. It was not long that he left Sarah's house and by the time he got home, Lauren had already found out about his intended law suit. He was perplexed at how fast news spread and he wondered who must have told Lauren about his plan. He wondered if it was Sarah but he eventually ruled that possibility out of his mind, he knew Sarah was too scared and had no guts to tell Lauren of the law suit. She stood there without knowing what to say. At that point, she could not lie, it was useless to lie because Sarah already knew that she was in contact with Lauren. When she stood there for a long time without saying anything, she scratched her hair."I'm sorry, Sarah. My name's not Estrellita and I'm not a Colombian. Everything I told you is a lie, I just faked everything just to get the job of being your assistant." The girl said calmly.Sarah's eyes widened abit. "What!!?" Sarah was flabbergasted."I was sent by Lauren to spy on you. She somehow got to know that you're coming back to New York soon so she sent me to spy on you and keep you informed about Ron." The girl explained.Sarah stood speechless, her head nodding in a slow motion. She could not believe what she was hearing, she could not believe that she has been a fool all the while. Melissa was certain Lauren was going to send the money. With the way she had threatened the woman, she was sure Lauren wasn't going to think twice before sending her the money. But that was the problem she had with rich people, they were stingy and didn't like to give others a dime. Well, she wasn't others, she was going to milk Lauren of every cent the woman have. With blackmail, of course. Well, it was true that Lauren had killed her parents. Melissa was sure of it because it happened under her very eyes. She was there when Lauren had contacted Tiger, instructing him to tamper with the breaks of the car her parents were going to use. She was also there when Lauren had persuaded her parents to take the faulty car and she was there when the news of the ghastly motor accident came. He was sitting on the black couch in Sarah's apartment. It has been a week since the court verdict and he was there to see his daughter officially for the first time. He was wearing a black suit and looking corporate, it was late at night and he was just coming from his office. Sarah was not there with him, she had gone to bring Rachel so that they can meet. The man sat with his palms together, as if in prayer. But instead of being infront of him, his palms were on his face, his eyes closed. He was nervous and excited at the same time about meeting his daughter. He had seen her before and he saw how pretty she looked, but what if the girl refuses to acknowledge him as her father? What if she doesn't call her daddy? He sat there, numerous things running through his head.He was still seated when Sarah arrived with Rachel to the living room. The next morning, Lauren came by to his room early and took away the signed paperwork and immediately she left the house, Ron too began to pack his bags to leave. The house was a gift to them from Lauren's father so now that they are getting divorced, he saw no reason to still live there. So, shortly after Lauren left the house, Ron took his luggage and left too. When he left Lauren's house that early morning, he went straight to his home. He got home but his parents were not yet awake so he took advantage of the situation, he prepared quickly for work and left without seeing his parents. When he left his home, he drove straight to Sarah's house, he needed to take his daughter to school. Later that day, when he came back from the office at night, his parents gave him his divorce. The divorce documents had arrived earlier in the day and it was until he came home that he was given them. That meant that he was officially divorced, a single man. DIRTY TRIANGLE CHAPTER FIFTY-EIGHT.
The car made an abrupt halt infront of Sarah's apartment building. It was Ron bringing Sarah and his daughter back home after meeting his parents. It was dusk and the sky was already dark, the stars glittering from the sky. Immediately the car stopped, Sarah came out of it and Rachel did too. The last person to alight was Ron and when he did, he kissed his daughter goodbye and told her to go inside the house, she did. He watched as the girl ran into the house and when she was gone, the door firmly bolted behind her, he turned back to Sarah. They both stared at each other silently for a long time."I divorced Lauren." Ron suddenly blurted out, breaking the silence.Sarah's brows raised in surprise. She had heard the news, seen it on a blog but it was put there as a rumour. Neither the news channel nor the blogger's wall confirmed the news so, it remained a rumour. She had wanted to ask Ron if the rumours were true but she did not, she did not want to prey into the man's personal life.
