Chapter 26: Girl's Night - Amory & Spin

I wake up the next morning in just a tee and panties, thankful that I’m alone in the bed at least! I know this was Spin’s doing, and I don’t know how much longer I can take it in this fucking house… It makes me angry to even be here in this bed, that I walked in on my estranged husband having sex with another woman. But the bed feels different than I remember, it’s softer... Too soft!

I exited the bedroom and checked the room across the hall to find it empty. Then I checked the next room to find it empty too! I text Melanie, who tells me that Gabby woke her about ten minutes ago for breakfast and they are down in the kitchen. “How’d you sleep?”, says Spin, as I enter the kitchen.

“I dunno”, I told him. “That bed is most certainly softer than it used to be”!

“I threw out the old mattress the day you ran out of here, I didn’t want to sleep on a bed with you that had been tainted by someone else”, he says.
