Chapter 39

Quinn POV

I walked into Thomas’s office and was surprised to see Kat huddled with my parents and Thomas, near the large oak desk. I thought seeing all of them together would be weird, however surprisingly, it felt normal.

There was something different about Thomas and Kat’s auras. A slight gasp of delight expelled from me when I noticed the mark on Kat’s neck. The matching mark reflects on Thomas’s neck. I squealed, “Yay! You finally marked each other!” I squeezed Thomas into a big hug before embracing Kat, who was blushing.

“I told you she would be excited babe.” Thomas said to Kat before pressing a kiss to her forehead.

“Excited is an understatement!”

“Are we chopped liver?” My mom asked in a teasing tone.

I smiled and hugged my parents who both pressed a kiss to my head.

Sam entered the room holding a large rolled up piece of paper. Behind him entered Elan, who gave me a soft smile as they approached.
