Danielle pov

I know when something is usually off, i can feel it and today when the elevator parted ways for me to the office i realized why. Arthur wasn’t in yet and that was really odd seeing that he was in five minutes before i came in myself, always. I checked my wrist watch to see if it was broken, a thirty minutes after seven. Definetly not broken, i turned around again to stare at the wall clock, it was still the same. Nothing was wrong with me or my watch, everything was just fine except the fact that Arthur had not yet come in.

“Maybe he’s just running late.” i tried to console myself and went straight to work, i checked my phone occassionally for any message that may have slipped through and when i saw none i made up my mind to focus on my work and not worry about Arthur.
