Chapter 4

People think being a mobster is easy but it was never easy for Nicholas. Nicholas never wanted to be a mobster, but life forced him to after he lost his entire family and he still has nightmares that recur every night from that terrible night.

Nicholas was only 5 years old when it happened. He remembers his father throwing a party for everyone that night but Nicholas never liked those parties. The place were full of bakery people with a lot of alcohol, young women with cleavage dresses, and with a lot of cigarette smell. Nicholas was always pass the time in his room alone and wait for the whole party to end but at that  evening everything changed from the moment he heard gunshots and screams of women coming from the living room. When Nicholas got to the living room, he found a lot of people lying on the floor bleeding and a lot of women screaming and running away. When Nicholas looked around, he saw his father and mother on the floor bleeding. Of course, it was a terrible sight for a 5-year-old boy to see his parents in this condition, He ran to them and tried to call for help. All he remembers from that evening are his father's last words.

"Promise me that you will never repeat the same mistakes I made. Find the right person to trust and never leave."

Till this day Nicholas is trying to understand what his father mean when he said his last word, What did he really mean? And why? But what was most important to Nicholas was to know who murdered his parents and the answer to this question Nicholas has been looking for ever since.

Nicholas enters the kitchen turns on the light and fills himself with a glass of vodka.

"What happened Nicholas, the same nightmares again?" Nicholas looks back and sees Uncle sitting in front of the kitchen table.

"If you know the answer then why are you asking?" Nicholas says nervously as he turns his back to him and takes a sip from the glass.

"You know people in this condition drink water instead?" Uncle tells him.

"But I'm not like other people," Nicholas says and continues to sip from the glass. His uncle got up from the chair and walked toward him.

"Are you still looking for answers?" His uncle asks him but Nicholas doesn't answer him "Nicholas I know how hard all this is for you but you have to let go."

"That's easy for you to say," Nicholas says and continues to sip his drink.

"For years you've been trying to find answers and until now you haven't found them," Uncle tells him.

"Maybe but this time I know I'll make it," Nicholas says placing the glass on the counter and intends to leave the kitchen.

"You really think she'll help you? She's Agent Nicholas Agents don't help people like us," his uncle says and Nicholas stands with his back to him and smiles.

"We'll see about that," he said and left the room.

Angel in the room is still Tied up in a chair trying to take a little nap but unable to. Her eyes close but she was cant fall asleep. The chair was not comfortable at all. And her neck started to hurt. She forced her head up and opened her eyes. Looking around she saw the guards dozing on their comfortable chairs. Angel knew this was the right time to try to escape. She tried to move her hands and loosen the tie. She tries hard to take the tie off her hand as she continues to look at the guards, hoping they don't hear or see what she's doing. The straw rope was tied tightly and began to scratch her skin, but that didn't make her stop trying to break free. The straw rope began to scratch deeper into her skin and began to injure her but she continued to try to free herself. She bit her lips so that no one would hear her pain. When Angel finally feels the grip of the wire around her hand begin to loosen suddenly the door to the room, open and Nicholas enters and stands in the doorway of the room wearing black jeans and black leather jeans.

"I knew working with her would be a bad idea," Jack says

"Whoever speaks, everything happened because of you. Thanks to Angel, you are alive today." Ellen says nervously pointing at Jack

"Don't forget that Angel broke the rules by meeting the target directly," Jack argued with Ellen

"Jack this is not the time. We need to know what to do." The manager says angrily about Jack.

"Sir, what are we going to do now? How do we know where she is? How do we know where they are keeping her?" one of the agents asked him

"I think we'll have to send something to track Nicholas' men's so we can find out where he's keeping Angel"

says the manager

"But how do you know that Nicholas is the one who kidnapped her? We have no proof." Another agent tells the manager

"You're right but right now I can't think of anything else that could kidnap her other than him." The manager tells him

"So we're going to follow Nicholas' men?" Jack asks the manager

"Jack you are not going to take part in this mission." The manager tells him

"But the Sir..." Jack tries to convince the manager

"No Jack your identity has already been exposed I can't send you on this mission."

"Sir, can I join the mission?" Ellen asks the manager

"Ellen, this is going to be a dangerous mission." The manager tells her

"I know boss but I'm ready to do anything for my friend," Ellen says and stands up straight in front of the manager

"Okay Ellen, but be careful because Nicholas doesn't give up on anyone," the manager tells you

"I know boss. I'll take care of myself. But first I'll get my friend home." Ellen says
