Chapter 5

Angel stood in front of everyone at the station as everyone looked at her confused.

"Angel?" The manager was shocked to see her and Ellen immediately wanted to hug her.

"Angel I was worried about you," Ellen tells her and hugs her tightly.

"Why did you worry about me? I'm perfectly fine," Angel says and Ellen looks at her confused.

"But our conversation yesterday," Ellen tells her as she is very confused by Angel's reaction.

"Ah, it's nothing. Some cat scared me and dropped the cell phone from my hand, so my  phone broke." Angel told her and showed her the broken phone.

"But we thought you were kidnapped," the manager said

"Me? kidnapped?," Angel said and started giggling "No one kidnapped me."

Five minutes before a car came and parked on the second step of the road in front of the station Angel, and one of Nicholas's men is sitting in the front seat of the car while Nicholas is sitting in the back seat. Angel looks in the direction of the station and Nicholas approaches behind her.

"I really hope you remember what you need to do Mrs. Russo," Nicholas whispers in her ear. "But you have to remember one thing. You're under my watch now so if I find you're breaking our agreement. I'll make sure to punish you so that you remember to not repeat the same mistake." Angel takes a deep breath, gets out of the car, and walks towards the station.

Angel stands up Infront her co-workers but cannot explain to them everything she has been through and everything that has happened to her. She knows that Nicholas is following her and if she broke their agreement she doesn't know what he can do to her. So all she can do at that time is put a fake smile on her face and act as if nothing happened.

Nicholas And  his man sits in the car in the back seat and looks towards the station.

"Boss are you sure she will do her job?" the driver asks him.

"She'll have to do her job, or I'll make sure to put pressure on her so she understands how dangerous I can be," Nicholas says and puts a hand on the driver. "Drive back to the mansion"

"Yes, Boss." The driver says starts the car and drives away.

Angel enters the dining room and fills herself with a glass of water When Nicholas's words still running through her head.

"If I find that you are violating our agreement. I will see to it that you are punished so that you remember not to repeat the same mistake."

She takes a full sip from the glass and tries to relax.

"Angel" Ellen comes up behind her and puts a hand on her shoulders. Angel panics and spills the water on the floor. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to startle you," Ellen tells her Angel smiles and bends down to wipe the water spilled on the floor.

"Are you sure you're okay Angel?" she asks her. Angel stands up and smiles at her.

"Yes, I'm perfectly fine." She says and leaves the room as Ellen follows.

"You're sure because you looked a little strange," Ellen tells her.

"Yes, I'm sure. Why are you asking me?" Angel replies as she continues walking toward her desk.

"Our conversation yesterday worried me a lot, Angel, are you sure everything is fine." Ellen reminded Angel of their conversation. Angel froze in a place she wanted so badly at that moment to tell her everything she had been through but she bit her tongue.

She knows that if she says something it could cost her. Angel puts a fake smile on her lips and turns to her giggling.

"I already told you the street cats scared me so much that the cell phone dropped from my hand and fell on the floor and broke," Angel tells her and continues to walk quickly towards her desk when suddenly she runs into someone. "Oh sorry."

"It's perfectly fine Angel," the Person answers her. Angel raises her head and sees a tall, slender man wearing a black leather jacket and a white button-down shirt smiling at her. "Hey, Angel we meet again." The guy tells her quietly and smiles at her. Angel remembers her conversation with Nicholas.

"Don't forget that I'm always following you, and I see everything you do," Nicholas says and the same tall man as He entered the room and stood next to him. "Meet Angel, this is my good friend Chris Shane who is actually also the best agent in Miami," Nicholas says and the same man salutes you.

"Very nice to meet you, Angel," the guy says and smiles at Angel.

"Chris will make sure you carry out your tasks and keep me informed of everything that happens. So if you try to break your agreement Chris will make sure to keep me informed. "Nicholas says.

Angel stands in front of Chris and looks at his face as he smiles at her. Chris was a huge tall man. He would look like a bodybuilder who never misses a day at the gym and one who isn't afraid to go toe to toe with someone.

"Do you like what you see?" Chris asks her and winks at her.

"Hey, who are you and what are you doing here?" Jack try pushes Chris cant moves him from his place.. Chris looks at Jack and laughs at him.

"I invited him here." The manager says and approaches them.

"What did you invited him for? We don't need him." Jack says, and Chris continues to laugh at him.

"I had to invite him so that he would help us with the Nicholas Romano case." The manager says.

"We don't need anyone's help. We'll manage on our own." Jack says as he stands in front of Chris with his arms crossed.

"Oh, really that's not what I heard from your manager Mr. Jack how is your shoulder I hope it doesn't hurt more than the pain you feel in your ego." Chris says, and everyone started laughing at Jack "and about you" Chris says pointing at Angel "I'm keeping an eye on you so nothing happens to you if you know what I mean," Chris says as he smiles at Angel.
