“I’d ask again, and I expect an answer this time around, what’s happening here?”

Rex left Ivory’s neck and moved away from her to face his father, She felt more than hurt but having made a resolve does not show any weakness in front of Alpha Ryder, she smirked.

“What do you think is going on here?”

“I should be asking you what you had done to Rex, you turned him to far worse than he was, you fucking liar and manipulator”.

Rex totally ignored her words, failing to catch the cues she was trying to pass to him in his fit of rage. Hearing someone call his dad a liar seemed to nerve him despite what the confusion he felt.

He was convinced that his father meant the best for him and wouldn’t wish him any bad luck, so there was no way he was going to believe a stranger that made his heart beat over his father.
