Adrian leaned against his leather chair with a frown on his lips. He stared at his laptop, his eyes registering nothing.

He didn't want to go to the mating ball. Shit. He had been going to one of them for a while now and he still hadn't found his damn mate. He had been looking for his mate, the one the moon goddess had created for him, and still that woman was a no-see.

What was the use of creating a mate if one couldn't find the said mate? Lycans were the most powerful of the shapeshifters and maybe that was why the Moon Goddess had put a curse on them with this mate thing. It was not easy for a Lycan to come across their mates.
