CHAPTER TWENTY THREE: MISINTERPRET

After a week staying again in my hometown. I became indifferent and somehow feel I have able to forget things that I went through from his cruelty. It’s harsh and seems that life isn’t for me, I scanned my room after I have cleaned the area before leaving tomorrow heading back to the city for my college’s semester.

A knock interrupts me that I swiftly turned into. It’s mom holding her phone and was checking on me by her suspicious eyes. “You really ready to go, dear?” she asked and tilted her head after noticing my curtains were changed,

“Well, I’m not. But I wish I’m prepared for the school,” I said and giggle as I reached her arms and snaked my arms to her, grinning playfully. I looked at her ensuring the hope for them. I ran to an opportunity that I’ve regretted my whole life without them knowing. I appreciate how my parents poured their sacrifices and support for me. Thus, I swear to get hold to claim my manifest’s outcome of endeavor.
