“Well?” asked Beatrice.

“Auntie- Auntie, it’s not what you think,” stumbled Emily.

“Miss Miller, if you may please-” said Joshua.

Beatrice sighs. “It looks like you’re doing well.” She turned her head to where she was looking at both of them. “The both of you two,” she said, with a scowling look.

“Oh, um… I guess you could say that,” said Joshua.

“I just spoke to the doctors. It looks like your bloodwork is good, so you will be discharged first thing this morning,” said Beatrice, tilting Emily’s head sideways and up and down.

“Oh, that’s good news.”

“Yes. Good news indeed. It’s best if you can come home soon so you can take better rest there. Not to mention more care.”

“Alright.”

“Not only that but it will keep your grandfather’s mind at rest instead of having me called you every two hours checking up on your status here in the hospital.

“Every two hours?” asked Emily, with her eyes widened.

“Yes. Why? Did something happened?”

“No,” blushed Emily. “Nothing happened.”
