Aiden
AS SOON AS Diana left, Aiden sent some of his men after her. He wanted to run after her himself but Richard stopped him, saying that running after her will only fan the fires that spread the rumours circulating in the kingdom.
"Has the strategic team found out who started that rumour yet?" Aiden asked from behind his desk.
"Not yet, your Highness, but they are almost there," Richard responded.
"Something about this escape does not feel right. The underground dungeon is the most secure prison after the one in the Supreme capital.
"Even with the festivities, it should have been near impossible to escape. And from how easily he escaped, I can not stop wondering if he had not escaped on purpose. He used a virus on the guards right?"
"Yes, Your Highness," Richard answered.
"If he had this virus all the while
Diana"ARE YOU SURE you do not want me to go with you?" Diana asked Robin for the nth time.Robin put his backpack down with a sigh and walked over to Diana on the bed. He pulled her to her feet, and using his fingers, he straightened out the frown on her forehead."As I told you the other times you asked, I will be alright, Ana. Do not worry you can not get rid of me so easily," he smiled."But…" she began, but ran out of words to complain, then settled on pouting."But nothing. Now wipe that pout off your face, little sister, it does not suit you," he teased, letting her fall back on the bed.On hearing a sniffle from the corner, he turned to the other overgrown child."Dolphy, are you crying?" He cooed, as Rudolph threw his pink face away."No, dust just
Diana LEAVING THE VAMPIRE kingdom with Rudolph, Diana travelled to the Moonshine pack, or rather, what was left of the pack. To see if anything might come up about retrieving one's Wolf, Aiden suggested that the answers might lie in one of the werewolf books. And books of those kind were only find in the Moonshine Library. The Pack library was built beside the military zone which was the area, most destroyed by the zombies. The sight of the wreck made Diana's jaws clench in anger. "They are all gone now, Ana, you had your revenge," Rudolph said, noticing her rising anger. "I know," she agreed. "But the mastermind is still out there." "We will get him soon, I believe we will," he assured her, as he stood beside her in the wreck that was once a beautiful pack. "Only then will my mind be at p
Aiden PATIENCE WAS ONE of several virtues Aiden had and was proud of but tolerance was not any of them. There was a very close limit to what Aiden could bear, and disturbance was the height of it. "Let's say I decide to indulge you, what do you expect to gain from this... uh... friendship?" Aiden asked carefully. "Does one have to have a motive for everything?" Katherine responded. "Every decision has a reason behind it. It could be instinctual or thoughtful, reasonable or unreasonable. Either way, a reason is a motive." Katherine stared at him dreamily. "I am lucky to have you as my king." Aiden almost broke character and rolled his eyes but held himself. "That does not answer my question. So, what is your motive, Lady Katherine?" "I wish to bring back what we used to have before you beca
DianaTIME SEEMED TO have slowed for Diana, forcing her life to a stop, and limiting her to an enclosed space. She was not sure how to go forward as everything seemed to force her back, to a past, she wished to get over but could never succeed in doing so.She wished with everything that she could speak to Robin but his kingdom banned the use of human technology so phones were prohibited. That morning, she was called to Aiden's office as a call came in from the Werewolf council. The elders learned about her and wanted to meet with her. She was given two days to report to the Capital.Diana was not sure if she should accept or decline the invitation. One thing she hated the most was being unsure. If Robin were here, he would know exactly what to say. After the phone call, she left Aiden's office, unsure of what to do. Rudolp
RudolphOF ALL THE things Rudolph had been sure of in his life, Lacey topped the list. She was the most beautiful thing in his life at the moment and he would do anything to keep her.The first time he met her, he was taking a walk by the hillside near the unnamed land which served as the boundary between the Moonshine pack and the Vampire kingdom. It was the same place from where they ran into the Vampire kingdom after being chased by zombies. He had been to that boundary land with Diana often as that was where her family was buried. Lacey had been painting and he had not seen a sight more beautiful. He stood by the edge of the land, gaping at her while she painted until she asked him if he was taking pictures of her with his mind. Embarrassed, he ran out of there without looking back. The next day, he found her in the market, b
Diana SHE OPENED HER eyes only to be brought back to the same alternate reality she stayed in while in a coma. Diana looked around hoping to see the huge purple ball of fur anywhere but was disappointed to see just Selene. "Hello, Diana," Selene greeted in her usual soft voice. Diana was prepared for the pain that she expected to accompany that noise but was surprised when she felt nothing. No headache or anything. She gasped in surprise. "Oh, it's gone." "I am sorry about the headache, I was trying to force a connection with your mind. For now, I can only come to you when you are asleep," Selene said in an apologetic voice. "Why?" Diana questioned. "Someone had caused a great imbalance in the world and the pure energy keeping everything in place has been disrupted.&
Diana TILL THE NEXT morning, Diana did not see Aiden. When it was near time for her to leave, she decided to go to him. She stood in front of his office and knocked twice. At the third knock, the door opened, revealing a stone-faced Aiden with red rims around his irises, making his grey eyes look more bestial. She cleared her throat as she noticed the same human she saw the last time, sitting cross-legged on the floor beside Aiden's desk. "Leave, human," Aiden ordered, walking back into the office. The girl scrambled to her feet, bowed her head and scurried out of the room. However, Diana didn't miss the two punctured holes in her neck. "Sit, Diana," he told her monotonously. She eyed the red spots on his collar and gulped, feeling a little uncomfortable. "I just wanted to let you know that I am
Aiden THROUGH THE WINDOW of his room, Aiden watched as Diana, Rudolph and a vampire walked out of the castle. Earlier, the vampire asked him for permission to leave the kingdom with Diana and he granted it. After what happened in his office, he couldn't bear to face Diana just yet. Not because he regretted kissing her, but because he couldn't bear to watch her leave and go to another man. That kiss was the answer to all his questions. It made all his feelings clear. Aiden was in love. The thought of him being in love was funny and unbelievable. People would laugh their asses off. The ruthless vampire king in love? What a joke. What was not funny was watching Diana go further and further away from h
