CHAPTER NINETY-EIGHT

Diana

BACK IN THE cell, Sia put up the sound-out wards again.

"What do you think?" Sia asked.

"I think we should get the hell out of here right now," Diana whispered in a hushed voice.

"Why? I thought you wanted to get more information," Sia reminded her.

Diana shook her head. "Trust me, I've gotten all the information I need. It is as I feared, my uncle is working with Gary and Corbin."

"There was no werewolf in that room," Sia stated.

"True, there wasn't, but there had been. I smelled his scent and I am a hundred per cent certain that my uncle had been there a few times," Diana responded with a sigh.

"How big of a threat is he?" Sia asked.

"Not much, but his son, however, is a different case. If Asher is indeed working with Gary and Corbin, then I am in much bigger trouble than I thought.

"If Asher finds me here, I will be chained to his bed faster than I can think."

Diana wiped the sweat beads gathering on her face. The stress was probably getting to her.
