“I know. But I’m really sorry you had to hear any of this. I…” he said and I hushed him.

“You are sorry I had to hear this? Oh please. Spare me all of that,” I said brushing it off.

“Initially, I didn’t want anything to ruin our day. Someone has come to but it’s nothing. We can still carry on like nothing happened,” I said to him and I saw a look of relief on his face. I wasn’t ready to banter words with him and besides, I was already in a very good mood till that woman came in to my home uninvited.

“Really?” He asked with a bright face and a bright smile, showing off his beautiful dentition.

“Yes really. You are very lucky I’m in a good mood today,” I said to him and he smiled and took my hand.

“Thank you my queen,” he said kissing my hand and it felt like a fairy tale. He was actually so romantic, I had easily forgotten but he was trying to remind me.
