Chapter 40 Sophia's Moral Dilemma

Waking with a sore back, Sophia felt the pangs of hunger eating at her stomach once again. Rubbing her eyes she felt her cheeks indented and frowned. Sitting up she leaned over groaning in agony.

"It is because you are newly turned, you need to feed frequently. The female you drained last evening was only an appetizer," Shadow grunted from outside her cell. Scowling, Sophia replied bitterly, "I will never drink from another human!" Shadow tsked and grinned slightly, shaking his head.

"Randall won't be happy with you refusing the meals he will be bringing for you," he growled roughly. Sophia rolled her eyes and twirled her finger in the air. She could care less about how the asshole would feel. Shadow disappeared down the hallway so Sophia went to the wooden door to see to her personal needs.
