“Do they really have to do this? Romero?” Calliope asked her husband while crying. It breaks her heart to watch both of her sons standing in the middle of the battle stage to fight for the title of being the alpha.

Never in her life did she ever expect that this could have happened. Callum and Morgan shared a strong bond ever since they were young. How it ends up right here, is something she never saw coming.

Amira was silently seated beside Calliope and Monica, Callum’s mate. They watched as the brothers entered the stage. Amira can feel Morgan’s mixed feelings of guilt, worry, and love. He loved his brother. And this is the reason why he had pursued the title. He told him that Callum never liked the title. He just grew up thinking that he should have it since he trained for it, he had to take over Morgan’s responsibilities and burdens when he failed to turn and he was left with no choice but to force himself to think that he enjoys it.
