“We’re really sorry for all the trouble, moon goddess,” one of the councils apologized after their long conversation about the current state of Wolfpoint because of her presence.
“It’s nothing. I’m grateful that you work hard in order to protect me and our people,” Amira answered gracefully. Her arms tangled across Morgan’s who was standing beside her, talking to another council.
“It is our honor to serve the moon goddess—“
“Luna. She’s currently the luna of Crescent Walkers now,” Morgan corrected, earning an affectionate smile from his mate who even rested her head on his shoulder.
The councilors conceded with Morgan’s overwhelming alpha aura and nodded apologetically. “Our apologies.”
