Morgan turned to look at the enchantress after hearing her words.
“What… How… How did that happen?” His mother asked. Calliope felt like she would collapse on the ground after hearing the enchantress’ words.
“You… you told us that he would be the strongest—the greatest alpha ever born. How… How can he lost his wolf?” she asked tears streaming down her face. When Morgan saw his mother crying he wiped away his own tears and embraced his mother tightly.

“Happy birthday, Morgan!” Rissa greeted as she handed him a medium-sized box wrapped in fancy paper. Morgan simply thanked her as he subtly took a step back, avoiding her obvious advances. He heaved out a sigh of relief as soon as he saw Dmitri, Rissa’s father, and his father’s beta approached them. “Rissa,” the beta called out in a warning voice before he subtly turned to Morgan apologetically.
