With how tired I was and how much productive I had been for the entire day, I expected my brain to shut down immediately my back touched the bed, but nothing of that nature happened. Instead, I kept on tossing and turning, thinking about the drastic turn my life had taken in just a few days.

When I left home, I was blinded by so many emotions. I was desperate to put some distance between myself and the person who had been causing the intense heartache that I didn't give myself time to think through everything.

Where I could reside when I leave the pack? What kind of life I would start? Who I would be with? Heck, I didn't even give a single thought to the lurking dangers that awaited me in the forest, I just approached them here first despite knowing that they were there.
