Chapter 74: Three Friends and a Beta

No matter how many times Sasha tells herself that it will be alright, Sasha knows it will never be alright.

Klea is definitely no longer the friend she believed her to be. She even wondered if she was ever a friend to her at all.

She’s an enemy now, and no doubt it stems from Klea’s jealousy—of her and Ansel and their relationship and everything in between the Alpha and the Omega.

The sun was already high up in the sky when she woke up in her bedroom. The apartment and everything that surrounds it seems more jovial than the usual silence.

Klea wasn’t here, and it’s a relief. But something crashed, and it seems to be coming from the kitchen.

She’s not alone then, she realized. Not entirely. Her relief turned to anxiety.

Her heart was a thundering beast in her chest. Sasha pried open the door, hoping to catch a glimpse of Klea’s hair or annoying voice or perhaps another male she brought to Sasha’s apartment to fuck.

But it was male v
