Making a cup of coffee, I grabbed the book that Connor had given me. I took my seat on the comfy couch near the window in the foyer.

Sipping on my coffee I read the content on the first page with great curiosity and within seconds I was submerged in the book.

Connor had told me that this book is about my clan. I checked the time and it was almost time to leave. Jason had left earlier without me because my class was late today. I got ready and went to the University on my own.

After my first class, I was walking through the corridor while doused in my book when someone bumped into me. "Oh, I'm sorry," I mumbled, grabbing my book from the floor and looking up at the person who was none other than Ryan.

"No, it was my fault. I was looking at my phone," He apologized as I gave him a nod with a tight-lipped smile.
