The receptionist had directed me to the manager’s office for guidance.

“Good day, sir,” I greeted as soon as I walked in.

“Good day to you too. And welcome,” he replied, shifting his gaze from the laptop to me. He seemed to be in his forties.

“There are two teams in the budgeting department,” he continued. “You've been assigned to team B, and your team leader is Sarah.”

“Okay, sir.”

“I will show you the budgeting office,” he said, standing up. “I really hope you do well,” he added before closing his laptop.

“Thank you; I'll definitely put in my best,” I replied gratefully and followed him out of the office.

“That's a good attitude,” he pointed out as his finger pressed on the third floor in the elevator.

“The budgeting office is that door by right,” he gestured as soon as we stepped out of the elevator.
