23. The deed has been done

Callahan was worried, he tapped his feet nervously and couldn't eat his food. Storm didn't also come for breakfast. The only one here is Cassandra and for some reason, she didn't say anything nor made any of her pretentious caring comments.

Was he missing something? Callahan wondered, he knew Bash was hurt and he even went to his room but when he didn't get a reply, he assumed he was still mad at him and left but now he felt even worst after discovering that he left home so early. He wiped his mouth and left the dining, abandoning his barely touched breakfast.

After two days of Storm's absence from the dining he finally eats with the family but Bash was missing. He and the boy's parts haven't crossed since that day.

For reasons known to Callahan, he was playing with his food. "Is anything wrong Callay?" Storm asked.

"I just don't have an appetite, "Callahan said without peeking at his brother. He gazes at James as he inquired." Where is Bash?"

"He is not home
