37. Good News.

Chloe stared at the phone screen. It kept ringing continuously, increasing the tension in her heart rapidly.

Dr Chen is her mother's assigned doctor. In any situation, he calls her and most of the time, it's not good. Especially, when he calls out of his regular time.

After a few seconds of ringing, the phone turned silent, numbing her senses along. Inhaling a deep breath she dialed his number but his call appeared again. This time she picked up the call immediately.

"Dr Chen?" Her tone was low and scared.

"Thank God you received the call, Chloe. Did I disturb you?"

She shook her head. "No, of course not! Is..." She gulped before speaking again, "Is everything alright, doctor?"

"Oh, of course, it is..." He said casually. "I have news for you, a good one so I called you this time." He explained and Chloe leaned on the chair in relief. Her body just lost all the weight and she felt so light like the wind.

"What is the news Doctor?" Her fear turned into curiosity now.
