Salvatore's POV

The meeting had gone incredibly well even without the documents, but my mood hasn't changed one bit. I had my face looking out the window as I continued to wonder why Sofia would steal from me. If not her, then who?

Eduardo sat in the right passenger's seat while I sat at the back, the driver drove up home in total silence. Remembering how she had claimed she didn't steal anything, I couldn't find any atom of guilt or deceit in her eyes.
