About 10 minutes later we finally find one and Hayley backs up and parks, taking off our seat belts we get out of the car and walk to the entrance.
A nurse that I recognize quickly walks over to us.
"Chloe right, you're here for Colby?" She asked.
"Yes, I'm here to see him," I replied.
"I'm sorry to tell you this but you can't see him right now, his body went into phylactic shock and is currently having a seizure. If you could take a seat once his body calms down we can let you know and I'll let you in to see him if his body keeps up." She said, placing a hand on my shoulder.
"A-A seizure?" I stuttered, I didn't know what that meant but it didn't sound good.
"It means his body is convulsing uncontrollably and for now all us doctors can do is make sure his heart doesn't stop." My chest hurt and suddenly I couldn't breathe.
Is this wha
What do you think happens next also thank you for paying to read my chapters I appreciate all of you!!
Chloe's P.O.V I told the nurse everything except what we did to Lucey. "You were kidnapped?" She asked, shocked. "What I've been told seems, that way," I replied as we were still sitting on the hospital room floor. "So, are you with someone, are you safe?" She asked worriedly . "I was, until they found me again," I felt small and vulnerable, like the world is just crashing around me and there is nothing I can do about it. "I can call the police, get you a restraining order, I'm your witness and I can vouch for you-that these people are criminals, they belong in jail." She said blabbering on. "Person, only the man is dangerous." I explained. "The woman is accessory to a crime that she helped commit." She said sympathetically. "What happened to me, happened to her too; the life that sh
Chloe's P.O.V I wiped the tears away from my eyes and walked back to the waiting room where Hayley and Silvia waited for me. He doesn't remember me. "Hey how'd it go?" Hayley asked as I went and took a seat beside her. "He woke up," I said slowly. "That's great, you must be so relieved!" Silvia spoke excitedly. "He… doesn't remember me," I said slowly. "What?" Hayley asked to repeat it again. "I said he doesn't remember me," I explained, upset. "What, why?" She asked outraged. "I don't know, they are looking him over now," responded, numb. "So he has amnesia?" Silvia asked, biting her lower lip nervously. I shrugged. How can he not remember me? Doesn't he love me? Is he going to go back to his parents?

Colby's P.O.V "Stop the car," I yelled feeling nauseous. Out of shock Hayley hit the break skidding to a stop. "What the hell man are you trying to die?" I opened the door and puked. "Are you okay?" Chloe asked, placing a piece of hair behind her ear and rubbing my back. Twins? "Y-yeah, s-sorry," I stuttered out still choking. "Its okay," she said softly, rubbing my back. "Maybe we should take Colby home and let him rest," Hayley said worriedly. "No, I'm fine." I said choking out as I wiped my mouth off. "-Just need something to drink," I added as I swallowed the rest of the bile in my throat, and closed the car door. "I could go for a drink, too, let's stop by cafe Boujero." Hayley said as she put the car into drive.
"Don't bull shit me Chloe, we all know you wanted to get back at them as much as possible I just did for you." Hayden said, rolling his eyes. "No, you just made more work for us, they are looking for Lucey's killer and you kidnapped another one of them, you're going to get us caught. "Unchain him," I ordered. "Wait, what? No way!" Hayden replied. I looked at Chloe to agree with me. "Let him down Hayden." Chloe said softly. I walked past all of them and took Chloe by the wrist and pulled her out of the Garage. "Ow Colby easy," Chloe whispered, once we were outside I turned towards her. "What the hell are you running here Chloe," I asked.
I looked over at Chloe, she was stunning her sky blue eyes and dark long hair complimented each other, exotic almost. She talked with Hayley as she rubbed her pregnant stomach, where the twins were growing inside her. She must be exhausted, I know how high stress this business is, I know why she did it but how did she succeed so brilliantly. "You love her?" He nodded towards Chloe in question. "More than anything," I replied. Jason stood there pretending not to notice, this guy seems over protective for someone who is only a friend. I glared slightly across the room where Jason was standing. Something seems off, who is he to Chloe? "So where will you be staying for the time being, you know, now that you can't go home?" I asked, looking back at my brother. "I'll
I woke up on the couch completely drenched in sweat, the leather stuck to my body like glue, I looked around, I was completely alone. Confused, I sat up, and noticed a note on the glass coffee table and picked it up to read. "Dear Colby, I went to work but I'll be back later, make sure to eat something, I love you." I sighed, and put down the letter, the thought of her eight months pregnant and still on her feet all day upset me. 'It should be me out there working instead of her, but we have enough money for everything we would need for the twins so I don't understand why she continues to work.' I got up off the couch and walked to the bathroom, and looked into the mirror. My hair was way past my ears at this point, my eyes were sunken in and my skin was pale.
