Chapter 9

“Any word from Chris?” Ryan asked gently as he entered the building. Rosco sighed and shook his head. They had been trying to get a hold of them for a while now but nothing. As night falls they had hopped to get a sense as to where they where. Chris told Rosco he would keep them updated but that has not been happening.

“I’m worried Ryan, what happens if something has happened to them.” Rosco spoke gently. Ryan quickly but the food he had brought down and held Rosco.

“Nothing will happen to them. Asrar has marked Rosalie, if the mark is there and she is breathing he is not dead.” Ryan spoke gently trying to sooth him. “The whole mate process hasn’t been complete but that doesn’t mean anything. As soon as a mark is adorned on the skin of one mate nothing happens to the other they don’t know of.”
