“Alpha, where are you?” Beta Alaric’s anxious voice entered my mind mid stride as I flew across the forest floor on Sapphire’s lavender paws. I had gone out for a run this morning alone; I just needed some time alone to think about everything that had happened the past few days.

Waking up to the sunset coming over the horizon and a cup of hot, fresh coffee in my hand was an amazing feeling.
