As I approached Valen’s camp, I ran the plan through my head again; walk out as Sapphire, come back, shift to human form, throw on the dress I just set under a bush, and walk back out to introduce myself. With Alister leaving us to join Genesis and my arch enemy being my uncle, they would come for us soon, and I could not afford to let them find my mate outside the gates with little security.
