RYLAN'S POV

"Dylan, should we head straight to the supermarket?" I asked him as we exited the church.

It's Sunday again, and it's been days since Lily and I discussed my help for Gab's birthday party. They've already given me the ingredients.

Now, I'm wondering what design I should make for Gab's cake. I can't help but sigh because I still haven't come up with an idea.

Only three days left until Gab's birthday, so I need to start making the desserts for his party. Dylan has a freezer at home, so I'll just put them there, and they'll be ready by Gab's birthday. The last thing I'll do is the cake.

As we walked back to the parking lot, memories of Lily and Brandon bringing the ingredients to the house came flooding back. One afternoon, I suddenly heard the doorbell.

Peeking outside the gate, I saw Lily and Brandon.

"Oh, it's you guys. Thank you, even though it's embarrassing, you went grocery shopping and even brought it here," I said.
