Chapter nine

Lun blinked and felt his eyes water from the smoke in the shop. Needless to say, she had arrived in half an hour and running! No cab had stopped to take her. She felt her shirt clinging to her body with sweat, the inside of her thighs itched from rubbing.

She ran a hand through the locks that had come loose from her ponytail and joined the large crowd in the club. The music was loud, the dance floor full of people dancing and the bar covered with drinkers. There were also tables that made a half circle around the dance floor. The chairs were joined together and were black in color, while the tables were dark wood in color.

As she walked around dodging people or hands that were placed on her waist to urge her to dance, Lun watched the men's faces intently, but none of them rang a bell.

At the far end of the venue, Lun spotted the bathrooms. She went with large strides and with her heart in a fist. Every time a hand touched her, she was startled and looked at the one who caused the touc
