"You don't have to go with me, Sir. The company might need you," I whispered to Achetbir as we sat in the car.

We sat side by side in the far seat of the van he had rented while my mother and sister were in the front of us.

"Stop it, Miss Mendoza. I already have my decision," he said emphatically.

I just gasped and did nothing.

"Oh! hijo, thank you so much for taking care of me, I am sorry for the circumstance I caused you," my mother said in front of us as she turned in our direction.

Achetbir smiled sparingly and shook his head a little. "It's okay, I'm happy to help you," he said.

I nodded and just looked out of the car when it started to move.

He was just guilty and cleaning his conscience from the tortures he inflicted on me in the office. I sighed in my mind and frowned.
