CHAP 24

"He's too small." I burst out in tears while looking at my son.

Here I am today outside the NICU with my mother and my sister, watching my baby fighting for his life. He is in an incubator and has small wires attached to his body. He needs to be observed and watched because his lungs are not yet in good shape.

I felt my mother gently caressed my shoulder. I was sitting on a wheelchair while she stood behind me.

"Be courageous my daughter, everything will be fine." she consolidated.

I bit my lower lip and slowly lifted my hand to the glass blocking between me and my son.

"I don't know who I should blame. Whether it was them or myself because I didn't take good care of him," I said in cracked voice.

"Don't think about those things. I'm sure no one wanted toruin the child you aare carrying." I was promptly stopped by my mother.

"I don't know what to do mother." Surrendering to the hardship I'm carrying.

"Why don't you start settling with Archetbir?" Blair suggested while dabbling on her
