Not in my usual self, I walked towards my seat and sat down.

"Hey, are you okay?" Serah asked.

I slowly turned to her and cleared my throat at the same time, my tears started forming in my eyes. "I-I don't know," I rasped in response.

I saw the concern on her face, Feya also turned to us in the middle of her typing on the computer. The two quickly stood up and hugged me tightly.

"We're just here, Jandie," Serah whispered.

I felt Feya caressing my back causing my tears to burst which I have been holding back ever since. I sobbed silently as I remembered my past with Achetbir.

I stayed in their arms for a few more minutes before I let go and adjusted myself. "Thank you," I forced a droning smile as I wiped away my tears.

There was still sadness in their eyes as they stared at me.

"All right, go back to what you're doing. If boss found out that were doing some drama here, he'll be upset," I joked.
