CHAPTER 60: The Anonymous Note.

“Erica, you have been acting really strange lately.” Lisa said as Erica sat down on the couch.

“What’s going on with you?”

Erica shook her head. “Nothing. I’ve just been spending more time studying and thinking.”

Lisa not convinced by her roommates words.

“I don’t believe that for a second. You’ve been avoiding everyone, especially me. What’s going on?”

Erica stood up and looked at Lisa. “Nothing alright. I just have some stuffs to deal with at the moment, but it’s nothing I can’t handle.”

She wasn’t ready to tell Lisa that she had been seeing Professor Sebastian secretly, because she knew her friend would try to convince her otherwise.

“You are someone who never tells people your problem even when it’s taking too much from you.

But please, just know that I care about you, Erica and I’m worried something is going on, but you just don’t wanna tell me.” Lisa said, a look of concern on her face.

Erica sighed deeply. “Look, Lisa. There’s nothing going on alright? So don’t worry about me.
