Chapter 2

"What the hell! In a meeting. Such gutsy!" Wesley barked succinctly.

Elizabeth's grip on his arms tightened as she tried to curb his anger.

"Calm down dear, it could be something very important, I have never seen her this anxious before," Elizabeth implored as she cast a succinct gaze at me outside.

"So it's more important than our annual conventional meeting right?" Wesley thundered at the top of his lungs, massaging his temples effusively.

"Just hear her out, that's all I ask," Elizabeth implored with a heavy breath.

Wesley battered his eyelashes as he ordered that I be let in to speak with him.

I knew I had to summon an unblinking courage to tell him in the presence of all.

I fiddled with my hands in terror of what my Dad might do to me after I uttered my unscrupulous acts.

Wesley's brows furrowed as he seethed through clenched teeth.

"I accidentally had a one-night stand with a stranger outside the pack, against the rules Dad, am so sorry," Wesley's incredulous expression mirrored my disbelief at the audacious words that had evaded my lips.

I flinched backwards when Wesley waggled close to me boiling in anger.

Everyone present heard it at the moment, including Millicent who had a sinister glint in her eyes as she sneered.

A loud slap was heard and I slumped to the floor feeling giddy.

I felt a sharp pain splintered all around my head as a slay tear slithered down my skin after tears pricked against her eyes.

Elizabeth tried to halt Wesley but he couldn't control his effusive acts.

"That serves her right," One of the elders, Pa Axel Maynard who despised me croaked out as he rose from where he sat.

"How could you, I remember several times without numbers I have coerced you into mating with Simon and now, you have refused, instead all we get is an adequate act of lollygagging from you," Wesley blurted out gritting his teeth in rage.

I cast a gaze at Simon who haltingly fought his inward feelings. He was in tears but he knew that he couldn't do anything.

He had always loved me right from childhood and now it's obvious that he could never be with me.

Amora and Blake fought indignantly to try to implore Wesley but were held back by Blake's elder brother, Peter.

"Take her out of my sight!" Father commanded authoritatively as he hissed in disgust and the warriors waltzed to obey.

"No!" Amora and Blake blurted out in distress about what was going on but were still curbed by Peter who was very strong.

Millicent chuckled wildly as I was dragged away from the scene.

She knew that I would be confined in the cell surrounded by wolfsbane until my fate would be decided and a sinister glint flashed through my eyes.

"How could you do this to your daughter!" Elizabeth's eyes glittered with sadistic emotions as uncontrollable tears strolled down from her eyes.

"She asked for it when she defied me and everyone right here," That was all Father uttered, as he belligerently freed himself from Elizabeth's clutch.

The cell that I was in was very nauseating for her because it was laced with wolfsbane.

I knew that she couldn't escape until she had been freed.

It wasn't long until Amora and Blake approached me.

"No matter what happens, we would never let you get hurt," Blake started with a sadistic flicker on his face.

"Yes, Dhalia, I mean it wasn't your fault, you were drunk and it's irrefutable to get drunk under the moonlight and resist any temptations," Amora let her raspy emotions flush out through her face.

I pondered about their words and heaved a sharp Inhale and exhale before she reverted.

"I understand and appreciate the concerns, but I must give a caveat that none of you should get into any trouble because of me," I let out a low puff.

"No way, it's injustice, to his daughter," Blake argued indignantly.

"Please, just ensure you stay safe. I know with my acts, the punishment is going to be banishment," My eyes got sultry with tears.

"Don't say that," Amora implored.

Simon was already on his way and they were able to see this and evade him before he got there.

Simon stood like a dumb land post before me and his tanned face turned Rudy red with uncontrollable tears being irrefutable over his face.

"Simon, please. I didn't mean to..." He interrupted me succinctly.

"No! You have made your choice. I came to wish you good luck no matter what happens," Simon's heaved a raspy shivering breath as he spoke amidst tears.

"Simon, it's not like that, you have to understand," I implored.

"It's over, I mean I was never sufficient for you right from childhood and that's why you had to pick a mate outside the pack," Simon whispered hoarsely.

"I was drunk, you know I would have resisted the urge if I wasn't," I said.

At this moment, Peter came in with a stern expression.

"The pack leader calls for Dhalia," He instructed as abled-bodied werewolves in their humanoid state groped and hauled me vigorously towards Wesley's pack where everyone was present including my family.

Elizabeth's grieved inwardly as she gazed at me. She knew that she had done all that she could and it was too late now.

"For all your crimes against the pack, you have been banished from Loodwig Crescent Pack to never again return," Wesley roared callously.

My eyes watered as my whole life flashed before my very eyes.

All of a sudden, two of the notable warriors of the pack shapeshifted into full werewolves and escorted me out to make sure I leave the pack with nothing.

I watched my mom and friends get restrained from stopping the inevitable with the irrefutable sneer on Millicent lips and whimpered inwardly.

I finally decided to waggle towards my special cottage to stay there at the moment...

I finally got to my cottage with a sadistic glint flashing through my eyes.

When I was in my grungy bedroom, I pondered about my mother especially, how she would be faring.

I was at least grateful that I had one parent who at least cared for me, unlike my Dad.

I reminisced about the nice words my mother called me with. "My precious little damsel" when I was growing up.

My mother was always there to encourage me and love me.

My Dad was also the same only that he changed his act when I refused to mate under the moonlight when he ordered.

I heaved a huge sigh as I slumped on the bed bewildered about the next chapter of my life.
