“I made a promise to have dinner with you and I’d to fulfill it because Eve would have my head for it, so what do you want?” He looked over at the list of food and drinks, wondering what to get at the table.

“Anything you ordered is okay for me, I ate anything.”

“Oh okay, that’s fine.” He nodded at her and gave his order to the waiter. The waiter left to get their orders.

“You shouldn’t have given in she was just being silly.”

“Still, I wanted to know the kind of friend she had, I think I was curious as well, she speaks so well of you. So I wanted to go out with you for a day where it would just be us, as it is now.” He said to her while staring at her for the first time since she came in. He never thought of her as bad, her looks were pretty good but he could see anything else other than that, or maybe because his heart was shut to someone he couldn’t have and yet it was difficult to let go.
