Then and now

When heard nothing she crawled out of the table, she sat down on the chair, and pull the glass out of her arm. She glanced over at the restaurant, everyone was coming out of their hiding.

She grabbed her purse and reached for her phone and placed a call to Wesley.

He pick up the call immediately after it came through his phone, excuse himself from the meeting, and walked out.

“Are you...” he was smiling but her shaky breath cut the smile off his face.

“There was a shot out.” She groaned she couldn’t hide the pain she was feeling.

“Where are you? How you hurt?” She was hurt when the sound of her voice.

“A little.”

“Stay where you at and I’m coming to get you.” He took the phone away from his pocket and tightened it on his side.

“The meeting is adjourned.”

He ran out with Jacky, getting into the car.

Sadie crawled to the door, the glass door was splattered as well, looking over for her. She was about to get it before it started she had to be outside.
