Melissa's POV

"What are you talking about?" I asked as I found my voice to speak up.

I let go of his grip around my wrist, "What problem? Clearly, I don't understand why you need me for anything, this is your pack and needing a human for whatever help is not acceptable" I fired, anger slowly began to rise in me.

"Will you just give me a listening ear for once Melissa" Nelson spoke out looking very frustrated. He rubbed his forehead so roughly that I thought he was going to bleed.

"Listen to me Melissa, me getting my title as the Alpha is at stake here"

"And what does that have to do with me?" I raised a brow staring at him.

"Everything Melissa! Everything! The elders insist that everything between us should be fine before I can get my coronation and you get yours. They refused to plan the coronation stating that Alpha and Luna had to show that they do love each other. Of course, I don't want anything to do with you, your face alone disturbs me but right now, my coronation is at stake
