Chapter Fifty Two

Loud bangs and the sounds of people yelling woke Elaina from her sleep.  Sitting up she placed a hand on Chase's shoulder and immediately began shaking him.

"What is it?" Chase grumbled trying to turn over.

"Sounds like we've got trouble." Elaina announced jumping out of bed and quickly throwing her clothes back on.  "Lets go."

Pulling Chase up Elaina shoved his clothes at him so he could get dressed before they both rushed out of the room and out into the halls that were filled with warriors running around and shouting.

"What happened?" Elaina asked grabbing one man's arm.

Glaring he let out a grunt, "Dark warriors, we are under attack."

Nodding Elaina let go and allowed him to continue on his way.  It seemed that Rathial was growing impatient by bringing his forces to them. 

Feeling her adrenaline beginning to pump Elaina left Chase behind as she hurried into the fray determined to get out and fight.
