Alexander always knew how to play the disappearance card. He did it when we were younger and he was doing it now.

Making me anxious because I keep on thinking about his next move. Would he actually tell Mr Warner the truth once he found out I flaunted his orders. Or was he just playing bluff.

Today makes it seven days since I last saw him or Gia, his assistant no longer sent updates about the security and how far along they were. It was almost like Castor security disappeared into thin air.

A knock on the door brought me back from my thoughts.

"Jasmine, it's me Ruby," A voice from the other side called, the sound sending relaxation down my body immediately.

I adjusted my stance and removed what I was initially doing on the computer to something less suspicious, I couldn't deal with a suspicious Ruby.

"Come on in," I shouted back, even plastered a big smile on my face so it would be convincing when she walked in.
