"What the fuck did your family do to Emma?"

"What do you mean?"

"I want to know what your grandfather did to her mother and why. I want to be privy to this information. You said I should talk with her but you never told me the film story."

Godson's face was tight with anger. "Don't you dare raise your voice at me, Lydia. Your job was to talk her out of whatever she has deluded herself into believing."

Lydia scoffed. "Of course you come running back to me when things get out of your hand. I want to know what it is your grandfather did to her mother. If I'm not privy to that information then there is no way I can convince her to let go of the lawsuit."
